For the second consecutive year, Louis Vuitton will showcase its Objets Nomades collection in Hong Kong. From March 23rd to March 31st 2019, the collection will be displayed exclusively within the former Central Magistracy, marking the first public opening of this historic building within the Tai Kwun complex following the completion of its revitalization.
To mark the occasion, award-winning design duo Raw Edges will preview their latest Objet Nomade in Hong Kong before it is revealed to international press at Fuorisalone in Milan in April 2019. Other new Objets Nomades for this year’s edition include Atelier Oi’s Serpentine table and Atelier Biagetti’s Anemona table.
The full Louis Vuitton Objets Nomades collection will be displayed in a scenography created by the internationally acclaimed Joyce Wang Studio - best known for their cinematic interiors that take people on immersive journeys. Visitors will walk into a grand, architectural space, an avant-garde home full of sensory stimulus. The archways, portals, niches and entryways all serve to frame this travelling collection, inviting interpretation and imagination.
