Silver Lockit
Silver Lockit
Illustrating Louis Vuitton's longstanding commitment to its partnership with UNICEF, the Maison unveils a new array of Silver Lockit designs created in collaboration with House Ambassador Millie Bobby Brown.
The Silver Lockit Collection revisits the emblematic miniature padlock with a bracelet, pendant, and, for the first time, an earring, all engraved with LEARN — a meaningful word chosen by Millie Bobby Brown to shine a light on a path to freedom for underprivileged children.
I am very proud to be a part of this project and to contribute through the design of this new Silver Lockit collection, which also supports an organisation that’s incredibly dear to my heart. It’s my wish to ensure all children are provided access to an education.

With the #MAKEAPROMISE campaign, Louis Vuitton contributes to UNICEF’s work of bringing life-saving support to vulnerable children around the world. Since the launch of the partnership in 2016, the sale of the Silver Lockit collections has helped the Maison raise over $22 million for UNICEF, with new versions of the bracelet launched annually.
What is the aim of the “Louis Vuitton for UNICEF” campaign?
Louis Vuitton is committed to supporting UNICEF in helping provide care and protection to the world’s most vulnerable children exposed to conflicts, diseases, natural disasters and other issues that threaten their safety and well-being. Launched in 2016, Louis Vuitton has made a promise to help these children through its ongoing partnership with UNICEF.
Why has Louis Vuitton chosen to support UNICEF and its focus on children?
Louis Vuitton is a House that treasures its past, while embracing the future. Louis Vuitton has always been a family business, transmitting values from generation to generation. Over the course of many years, we have naturally come to the wish to support children worldwide. We would like to provide help and care to those who are in urgent need.
How does Louis Vuitton help children within the UNICEF partnership?
Together with employees and customers, Louis Vuitton is building a community of supporters and actively raising funds throughout the year for children caught up in humanitarian crises. Louis Vuitton has specially designed products for this purpose and organises fundraising activities through ad-hoc events (internally and externally). We will use our assets to communicate and raise awareness worldwide. Funds raised through this campaign will be donated to UNICEF to help children in urgent need.
How can I get involved?
The Silver Lockit jewellery collection has been specially designed and created by Louis Vuitton for this ongoing campaign, with new collections released annually. We see the Silver Lockit as a symbol of commitment and protection. It is a token of our promise to help children and we hope you will share this promise with us. You can get involved by either:
- purchasing a Silver Lockit piece: for each sale, Louis Vuitton will donate between $100 and $200 to UNICEF, depending on the piece or
- making a direct donation to UNICEF at https://help.unicef.org/louis-vuitton or
- sharing your support on social media and encouraging your friends to #MAKEAPROMISE by donating to UNICEF
What can a $100 donation to UNICEF accomplish?
With $100, you can help UNICEF provide emergency support, for example one of these:
- 2 First Aid kits with essential medical supplies to heal and protect children against infections,
- 18 fleece blankets to keep babies and children warm in emergency situations,
- 46 life-saving mosquito nets to help protect children and their families from malaria.
Can I get a tax refund for the donation?
Louis Vuitton is not entitled to operate a tax refund for the sales of the charity product. However, if you make a direct donation to UNICEF, depending on the country you operate from and on the local tax legislation, you may receive a tax deduction for the donation you made.
How can I learn more about Unicef's work?
UNICEF works in the world’s toughest places to reach the most disadvantaged children and adolescents – and to protect the rights of every child, everywhere. Across more than 190 countries and territories, UNICEF does whatever it takes to help children survive, thrive, and fulfill their potential, from early childhood through adolescence. Funds raised by Louis Vuitton will help enable UNICEF to bring support and assistance to children affected by natural disasters, conflicts, and diseases.
